Overview:
An exciting opportunity for an organized, self-motivated individual with excellent interpersonal skills seeking to join a well-established, reputable, growing independent advisory and financial services company. The primary responsibility of a financial advisor is to meet one on one with leads, prospects and clients to identify retirement goals and establish a SMART Financial Plan. This position will depend heavily upon a positive attitude, solid work ethic and the ability to build relationships.
What you will do:
- Prepare, present and implement customized financial strategies
- Assist clients with annuities, life and long-term care plans
- Develop, manage and retain strong relationships with prospects and clients
- Work independently and proactively to meet personal business goals
- Participate regularly in public seminars
Experience you will bring:
- Relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Series 65; life and health license
- Proven experience in financial services with an emphasis on sales
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
- Top-notch verbal, written and interpersonal skills
- Outstanding communication and negotiation ability
